What we do, we do well:
CCDC7 introduces people to dance,in schools and colleges throughout London and the UK. CCDC7’s residencies include:

• Moving on’ designed to support young people in the transition from primary education to secondary school

• Intergenerational workshops with members of the Recycled Teenagers and St James the Great Primary School. Denis O’Regan, Deputy Head says ‘ The pupils     have worked with CCDC7 for two years now, and the effect of the work has been very positive in developing their skills and abilities. The joint project with the     ‘Recycled Teenagers’ had a stimulating and profound effect on the pupils by helping bridge the gap between young and old, a wonderful experience’.

• A new partnership with the National Maritime Museum, Lucas Vale Primary School and CCDC7, leading to ‘Freedom’, focusing on the impact and history of    slavery and performed in the Museum as part of Black History Month.

• Residencies often lead to sharing events, school assembly performances and participation in school festivities.

‘At CCDC7 we believe everyone can dance, it is a joyful way to express yourself, free your inhibitions, understand life and challenge prejudice. All our work is based on the premise that music, movement, cooperation and respect for others can change the world’.
